I totally relate with seeing the "Jesters". Someone mentioned above having huge eyes and a giant smile. The ones I see fit this perfectly- giant square-ish blacked out eyes, a huge, white smile, and some kind of clownish hat and attire. I've seen several different renditions of them (sometimes only their face plastered on a surface moving by in a ticker-tape fashion, other times they are fully bodied and animated. Not hostile, but definitely mischievous.) They move about extremely quickly and communicate using a combination of hand/face gestures and telepathy. The telepathy thing is huge though, because it really occurs when in the trip. I am shown impossible, incredible floating objects in a very real dimension other than our own, and these objects seem to communicate by movement in "phrases". like I am being told a sentence through the use of impossible objects, and if I pay attention to them rather than trying to define them, there is this rapturous feeling of security and understanding. I think the main difficult thing in a DMT trip is trying to get your "footing" in the new dimension. If you can let go of that notion and pay complete, silent, unbiased attention to whats being presented, its very rewarding.
