It doesn't work very well. You're better off using a different solvent like xylene.

SWIM seconds rons statement. Its possible but its a huge pain and can take many days. basically the procedure is the same as any crytallization cold warm cold warm very cold.

SWM has heard that it is def not the best as far as convenience goes although the product is pure. The trick is to as burnt said change the heat from cold to room temp. Also when one removes it from the freezer or fridge let the solvent evaporate a LITTLE bit can help. Also a seed crystal will help a lot.
