Extended DMT trip??

Migrated topic.

My most recent trip was a little worrying. I thought I broke myself. It was that I'm never coming back feeling.

My set was open-mindedness and go with the flow

Setting was 8:30pm, complete silence, in my bed, lotus position(I have an ergo frame tempurpedic, makes it great for trips when I can put it in any position I want)

Dose was my usual 25mg, usually 2 hits. Straight DMT.

The pleasant harmonic orchestral like hum is always very pronounced in all my trips. The closest I can come to describing the sound is that of a hand-held gyroscope I have that spins over 10,000 r.p.m. Only this is of many magnitudes greater frequency and pitch. It gradually increases in intensity until it envelopes me. I felt my shoulders starting to drop until they finally fell out of existence. My face was noticibly relaxing and becoming numb. My eyes naturally fell shut and the darkness was quickly infused with the constantly shifting, impossibly complex, organic geometric patterns.

The 'room' I was in had the definite sense that it was very smoothly expanding, but nothing was losing its contrast or size. If anything, it seemed to be getting bigger, or I was getting smaller.

The experience was intense. The harmony shifted to out of tune horror show tunes. I knew it wasn't going to be pleasant. I had just got my dog back from surgery and it was as if I was being operated on by a grotesque figure in front of me that was spiraling out from his center in all directions with horrific displays. I felt a hint of fear at first, but it was soon replaced by overwhelming sadness. I knew it was from the pain I know he must be in.

After accepting what I was seeing, I was able to lower my gaze and shift it to another area only to be confronted by 2 more white essences. They were very fuzzy, but their intentions were clear, more pain. They shot spears of fuzzy white light that continually pierced my chest. It wasn't overly painful but I could feel them.

The trip only lasted for what seemed like 6-8mins(normal) and I could feel myself being slowly pulled back into my physical body. Even though I felt like I was 'back', something was off. This is where this trip strayed from the "usual." I was still in a very relaxed state unable to move. I was aware of my surroundings but not necessarily my entire body. My left eye was open slightly while my right eye remained shut. My eyes were involuntarily darting back and forth as if in REM sleep. It was slightly disorienting with one eye shut and the other open I was still seeing very intense geometric visuals with flashes of figures. Even though my eyes were darting the patterns remained steadily held in my perception. There was also nothing to distinguish what eye was seeing what because the patterns carried through. I stayed in this sort of frozen state unable to move for around another 10mins.

The visuals continued but my eyes stopped darting. Although, one was still open and the other closed. I managed, seemingly through sheer willpower rather than muscle movements, to regain control of what seemed like my head and was able to shift my gaze back and forth. Its hard to describe the feeling, but movement was without resistance and effortless. Over the course of the next few minutes I was able to move my upper torso through the same process. It was more like being suspended in water, with no detectable resistance or muscle contractions. I was able to open both eyes now and the visuals were still persisting.

I started to think about how long it had been. I managed to look at the time and it was 9:10. 40 mins after first toke and I was still seeing intense visuals and not entirely back. I was able to move my whole body now, but it still didn't feel as if I was actually moving it. It wasn't an uncomfortable feeling, just different almost out of body-esqe. I didn't feel entirely back into this reality for another 15mins or so when the visuals started fading.

Has anyone else experienced an extended trip such as this??
