Extraction Help: 69ron d-limo tek

hello all,

My friend is about halfway through turning ~4 feet of San Pedro and P. Torch into mescaline using the "Pure white mescaline HCl from cactus using d-limonene" tek. He has been sticking to the instructions but is beset by low yields. Is this usually attributable to having weak cactus? Is Xylene a higher yielding solvent than d-limo?
