I have only used DMT orally, I'm not a smoker and the short duration doesn't appeal. With proper MAO inhibition there is certainly nothing mild about it, the onset is I'm sure more gradual but the breakthrough into hyperspace is all there.I'm not sure about plant-based MAOIs but I have to wait at least 2.5hrs (ideally a bit more) to get proper MAO inhibition.
