Rising Star
About 30 minutes ago, SWIM loaded up ~35mg of spice on top of an ash bed in his lovely little bubbler. He used his lighter to 'melt' the spice into the ash, so it will be more adept to proper vaporization when the time comes. Further more, he was 'prepared' in every sense of the word, and proceeded to vaporize. Low and behold, his spice caught fire! How unfortunate, but he continued to attempt to squeeze any salvageable DMT from the bowl into his body, in hopes of some type of journey.
It was reminiscent of the first couple of times he smoked the spice, on very low doses, and was pleasant, but certainly not awe-inspiring. The warmth wasn't quite there, and to be honest, now he just feels slighty stoned (note: no cannabis smoked/injested today) and tired. Little to no afterglow was experienced (though, that is to be expected with burning spice...), and he really gained nothing from the trip.
One thing to note, however, was that some visuals were still there. Once he closed his eyes, he saw flittering objects rotating at light speed all around him (vaguely), and about 3 minutes into the trip (SWIM stayed connected to reality more-so than ever before this time on the spice) he visualized the energy from what he can only gather as his pineal gland, or location of the third eye, shining ever so bright. He tried to talk to it lol with no response, no anything... so he just sat and observed. Nothing came from it, but...
...it was interesting, to say the least, and I'm quite curious to see how other SWIY's failed launches work out. How is that 'feeling'? Any gained insight? I often read about failed launches into hyperspace, but only that they failed - nothing more. When one 'expects' (SWIM uses that term loosely) to be fired off at breakneck speeds and then doesn't - does he let it go right there and abandon the experience, or does he try to channel whatever he can in hopes of something great nonetheless? What does SWIY do when this happens?
SWIM has had amazing non-breakthrough trips and, on this occasion, tried to - despite flaming spice - continue with a nice DMT experience in hopes of a similar (yet oh so different) journey. However, he can certainly see how people might be underwhelmed - and thus, simply just decide to try again next time (which is absolutely what SWIM intends to do) without regard to what they could possibly experience from that little bit of spice - if only they 'channeled' it. What say you... err... your pet rat's imaginary friend who lives in the freezer?
