Fake spice or dmt immunity

Hi guys thanks to welcome me to nexus.

I have some questions for ya.
Im a 5 years LSD and shrooms user (it all started for spiritual reasons, Praticing yoga and other tek) from wich i get soo much blissing and help in my life... When its come my attempt to exctract the leggendary DMT.

Did a lot of research here and there on the web, and i finally decided to use the STB David barlow tek (from mimosa hostilis) that gave me more or less 100mg of spice (starting with 20g mhrb)... That seemed alzo pretty good (pretty while with very little bit of impurity)

Untill here everything fine When it came to smoke it with my machine (build up by myself)...
So i sit myself in the nature and After charging a small amount of spice in my machine (15 mg or so) i heated the neck of the botte very gently and very slowly Until the spice started melting in a brown oil with curious plastic smell... Take a deep inhalation and keep it inside like there Were no tomorrow.

Then the issue. Nothing happened.
Not even the smallest trace of any effect...
So i charged more, 20/30 mg ... Nothing again

Then i Wanna ask whats wrong with me?
I researched a lot about this molecule, i wanted to experience it so bad... And When its come to get there no way for me to pass through or even feel a bit of effect.

It is about my extraction? Is it about me? Am i not allowed to experience the full psychedelic effect or am i between those 5/10% of people Who are immune??

I don't think you're immune. If you had effect from psilocybin and psilocin, you should have effect from N,N.

Can't comment on your spice though. Maybe you've got low quality bark, or something else? I don't know.

Also, check and see if your machine is alright. It's fairly difficult to burn the spice with the machine, but not impossible.
 
I'm sorry to hear that it did not work out for you. There could possibly be a few variables taking place.

I've never used a machine, so I cannot comment on that. I've tried a few methods: spice on top of bowl of herb - worked effectively for break through; Bong with changa/enhanced leaf - worked effectively for break through; Changa in bowl - break through; Molecule dissolved into fluid for an E-cig and vaped through the e-cig - worked for low dose/ mild sub-break through; Hand held vaporisor DaVinci Ascent - worked for low dose/sub breakthrough; Test tube - not my thing; Vapor Genie - works for all, and probably my favorite yet; Giggle stick(joint with molecule sprinkled in) - awesome for low-mid dose shared by a few pals in nature; Through the nasal cavity - ouch!; trans-dermal via coconut oil - excellent for a hike through some woods, very low effect, but still an effect; ayahuasca/pharma - :) lol.

I think that's about it, but one of those methods is surely to work for ya. It could be that you need to work on your method with the machine.

It might be the extraction or the bark.... If I were to use 20grams of bark, I would likely get 200-500mg of end product. If you only got 100mg, perhaps you have bark with lower concentrations or something to that effect. Did you yield crystals or goo?
 
Look I'm skeptical of any TEK on YouTube try Cybs hybrid salt TEK , it's the bees knees 🐝 !

Also that TEK ( Barlow ) he only mix's the naps through the soup once so could be that !!

I tried with another experiment loading a small amount of my tiny crystals in a da vinci vaporizer (put a bottom of hemp into the chamber and covered it with the spice) set on 170c and toke some big hits.
Well at first i Felt the smoke a bit harsh and After some seconds i start feeling a kinda threshold effect thats come very quickly (normally weed need some minute to kick ) like a pressure in the head and relaxing feeling but very soft, not visuals or any ...

Now i start thinking about a mistake with the scale that is not really accurate... (It weights mg but not so little amount).
(I never seen dmt before, i cant figure how big is 1g or 100mg.)
Maybe i should try just to load more.

I doubt Also about the tek and quality of the mimosa because of the poor results.

I Think im going to try the cybs hibrid In the next days... Both with my mimosa left and some other herbs im guna get.

myself honestly, a perfect dose is 50mg never tried such a low dose so im not sure what to say. i didnt even know anyone could have an immunity.
 
I've never heard of anyone being "immune" to the effects of DMT. That doesn't mean it's impossible by any means, but if it does happen it is incredibly rare. My money is on your technique. I'd recommend that you try different vaporizers (convection vaporizers are widely regarded as being more efficient than conduction when it comes to DMT), or look into the enhanced leaf route.
 
Yeah but wich temp is ideal?
I have a da vinci portable vape ... I use to put a bottom on weed then the spice on the top.

Do you Think 170 C is good?
 
I'm no expert, (and albeit there are those out there that swear up and down that vaping is the best) however I have heard plenty of others (including myself) having a rough time with the vape. Honestly, I use a bubbler (without water) that has a low "drop" underneath the bowl and I just throw a little glass screen in there. With this method, use a pocket torch and draw slowly.

This way has NEVER done me wrong, unlike vapes and I've been on some amazing journeys out into the aether and beyond! 😁

Also, do you think the quality of your mimosa may be a contributing factor?

Hey guys... i get some more spice with the cybs tek... Im only at the first pull but i didnt get so much... Only 50 mg.. And is more Yellow and sticky of the one i get with the barlows tek... its even difficult to weight it because there is not such a proper scale. (My scale is the smallest i found it weight 0.05g range!!

Anyway... I dont Wanna waste it, even if its only a little bit.

Im going to use it in the da vinci vape... Because i dont have any other smoking device... And i dont trust in the machine anymore.

The problem is still the right temperature.. I read your guide but there is nothing about it.
Some body say he smokes it at 80 C ... Others 180... What should i try... Sorry but i dont Wanna waste the spice again.

My other option is to make a changa with some weed.... Is it really worth it with such a small amount?
How much weed should i add to make the blend?

If you've got white stuff... taste it. If it's very bitter, metalic/plastic taste, that's DMT and there's no question. You may have vaped it wrong.

I highly doubt that you can get any good effects with that vaporizer. I have tried vaping DMT freebase with the Plenty vaporizer and, even though it has a HUGE surface for vaping, I could only get about 7mg of DMT in one pull.

The only vaporizers that seem to work with DMT freebase are the balloon/bag vaporizers like the Volcano.

p.s. For vaping DMT freebase with the Plenty vaporizer I set it to 180C.

I always had much better results using the Machine than I ever did using any sort of electronic vaporizer. I tried a lot of different vaporizers when I first discovered DMT and the Machine has come second only to my experience with my GVG.

How about one step at a time. You seem like your in a hurry and i would advise that you slow down and don't be in such a rush to try dmt. If you rush things your just gonna waste and miss out on learning from your mistakes.

I would start with your extraction methods. Why are you getting such low yields, how much bark are you using. Improve in that so you have more dmt to be able to improve on your vaping techniques.

Then, can you afford the gemini scale on amazon? Its $20. You need a good vape device, either the gvg or one of the cheaper alternatives thats being talked about.

Or you could just rush this all like it doesnt matter, make weak pulls without trying to improve, vape incorrectly ect ect.

Despite this i Was thinking about to make some enhached leaf with weed, so that i can use my da vinci device.

Making enhanced leaf with weed and 50mg of DMT, you're looking at one dose due to loss. Why dont you make some more pulls, you should get somewhere around 200mg from 20g of bark. keep making pulls, finish your extraction before you move onto the next stage. It often takes a good 100mg or more for some people to learn how to vape it properly without a proper device. I could tell you to load half that 50mg into your bong sandwiched between bud, but then you would have 2 shots at it.

If your gonna do it, may as well do it right.
 
If you are going to go with the enhanced leaf method, I wouldn't use reefer. It can be harsh on the lungs and make it more difficult to hold in your hit.

There are many recipes. The one I use the most is a blend of dried spearmint and lemon balm - mainly because I have them growing in the garden.

If you are going to make enhanced leaf, it might better to use a regular bowl or bong instead of the vaporizer. Just my opinion
