Favourite psychedelic music?

Migrated topic.
I've listened to loads of psychedelic music from electronic to the original stuff. however the one song that stands out to me is 1983 by hendrix. I recently listened to it during an acid trip (acid's the best for music as I'm sure those who've experienced it!). It was the craziest thing I've ever heard:

it slows down so much while tripping and you just get lost in the "down and down we go" forever and ever. amazing song. hendrix was one of the best musicians ever and he loved acid, put those together and you got this. :D

You don't know how much I agree with you there friend  I've fallen in love again recently with this song, easily one of his crowning achievments of his short but brilliant life, a true masterpiece of psychedelic divination.

and this is one of USA's finest psy-producer's in my opinion. He has other newer projects, such as Bufo and Outersect.

Prabhamandala - A land apart

Sleep - Jeruslam (AKA Dopesmoker)

This is a stoner/doom/psychedelic masterpiece IMO. The first time a good friend showed this too me I didn't get it but I persevered and one night it just clicked and it's definitely in my top albums. A massive journey with lyrics about a stoner caravan in search of the holy grail, whatever that may be (follow the smoke to the riff filled land, ha ha)

It will most definitely sound like droning monotony to the untrained ear... I approach it like an indian classical raga or tibetan throat singing. A massive visceral meditation of fuzzed out guitars and stories/lyrics of stoner, biblical epicness.

Enjoy... or not 😉

The Beatles, Donovan, Grateful Dead, Big brother and the holding company, Creedence clearwater revival. I am a bit of a conservative.

I like to listen to Indian spiritual music like this

I also enjoy some Native American peyote music like this

I also like lots of other stuff- ya know- Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Phish, Radiohead, Shpongle.
