Filtering flask vaporizer

Hi guys,

My friend just tried this and it seemed to work fairly well. He only had a small amount and split about 50 mg with his girlfriend but still got some good effects.
Here is the set up.
1. Filtering Flask
2. Hot Plate
3. Siphon tubing

Very simple.
He placed the spcie into the flask and then Rubber banded a piece of plastic bag over the top of the flask to ensure no spice would escape will vaporizing, also did the same for the filter tube.
Next he Cranked the heat up to maximum on his hot plate ( Ends up being around 200 degrees celcius, way higher then nesescary for vaporization)
Once he sees the spice has been mostly vaporized he attatches the siphon tubing to the filter notch on the filtering flask and removes syran wrap from top.
Then Viola, easy to make vaporizer.

Does this sound effective? He wants to make sure he is not damage or loosing any product.

It does sound fine; and if your friend did not see any burnt residual leftovers after the vaporisation, he then did everything perfectly!

200C is a bit high, that's the temp at which THC vaporizes
100C would be sufficient

Ya he knows 200 c was way too high, he just cranked the hot plate up because there is no temperature guage on it and later he checked temp with a basic alcohol thermometer and saw how high it was, He is planning on going lower than that on his next try, probly around 90 to 100
