First extraction, weird pull?

Used Cybs' Hybrid ATB 'Salt' Tek, ACRB.

Just scraped off my first dish, which contained my 1st and 2nd pulls, pre freezing they were really milky / saturated, which made me well happy.

As you can see in pictures, the crystals are small and rather rare, but very fluffy, like super fluffy. However, the dish bottom was covered with this 'microscopic' clear sticky layer, which when scraping off, scraped off together with my fluffy crystals. I suppose it is called 'goo'?

I have not done 're-x' yet and was just wondering whether it would help making my initial pull more fluffy and less goo-like?
What other recommendations do you have? I'm really green at this and any help would be greatly appreciated and sent some love for!

That looks fine

I wouldn't bother with a Rex, just use it as is.
Keep chopping it up and let it dry really well.

The clear sticky is DMT too (it's polymorphic and takes multiple forms)

Remember that the goo is much more dense and heavy than the light fluff, so be very accurate with weighing. (15/20mg is more than enough)

ACRB can be very variable with is alkaloid contents so you won't always get fluff.

My first pull is generating a waxy gooey substance and no crystallization whatsoever I’ve done this several times before and have never had this issue and followed the exact same procedure any thoughts?

Strange if this is from the same batch. But when you re-x it, wont it become better?

Maybe you did not make a back wash with salted water with your Naphtha so some of the aqueous phase was still left inside your solvent, even you did not recognize it, causing it to become more gooey?

Still recrystallizing should solve that problem. Gooey stuff is not that nice to use as a freebase, but for creating Changa it does not matter. Still you may not know if its 85 % pure or maybe only 60 %.
