First Spice Extract

Hey everyone just finished getting most of the spice out of the jar and to my surprise my first pull on a 100g's of mhrb gave over a gram. I used the perfect lazy mans tek 600 ml bottled water, 100g pure lye, 1 cup vm&p naptha.
I can't get over how simple it was and how much it yielded it's so beautiful. I didn't even get it all out of the container its still all over it and still have the other pull to baste. What do you guys think should I re-x or do anything else. I did a full evap not a freezer precipitate. I found a new love.

Yes do a re-x in minimal warm solvent. Freeze precip that and you will get snow white spice :thumb_up: Gratz on the good yeilds brotha.

My first pull was 2 hours after I added the cup of naptha and turned the container like a doorknob every 5-10 minutes for a 2 hour period. The result was a rather white clean crystal. The whole process took me 3 hours (letting the basified mix sit for an hour). After, I added another half a cup to each container then went to bed after mixing it about 10 times over a half an hour then shook it good and hard just before crashing.
I woke this morning, smiled at the sunrise, pulled the naptha off, and started the evap again.
The tek said 3-4 hours then pull I'm guessing it was at least 8 hours before I pulled it. Did I wait too long ? Does this yellow/orange version need to be re-x'd..? I've read numerous pages talking about jungle dmt or jimjam or n-oxide. Is this desirable/safe ?
I've never really dipped my mind into this wondrous spice so I seek to know from those who have.
Also, is this spice truly safe after letting all the solvent evap off ? The smell from the spice is very curious and does not match the solvent in the least but I would like to hear from a few regarding the positives and negatives if any exist. It is dmt.. so how can there be any negatives lol just curious thank you
P.S. Is it worth doing anymore pulls, I feel like it would be pointless as I've already achieved ~ 1.9% yield

Yes yellow spice is perfectly fine. It is just not as potent as white spice and doesnt taste as good. Plus white spice looks cool. Do 3-4 pulls minimum. Make sure to report your first smoking experience, your in for a ride.

3rd and final pull. I've got to get a glass funnel to invert and pull the final layer of solution. I can't think of any other method. There is a ~30ml layer in each container I cannot pull without getting a drop of the basified liquid. I will be investing in a separatory funnel for future endeavors, the basting is the one thing I don't care for much. But anyways my final yield is 2.226 for 100g's of near powdered bark. Thanks for everybody's help and info on this wonderful site. Now to try q21's tek and attempt to explain my first experience.. I've got work unfortunately.. so another time but all I can muster at the moment is... wow

Wow that looks really yellow! Can anyone explain why his first pull looks white en his third pull looks this yellow?

A great easy way to seperate that last small layer is to suck up all the liquid in a 10ml syringe a few times. You can even get them free from pharmacies lol.

You have some excellent quality bark there!

I love smoking the yellow and/or gooey stuff.

I'd try it out before going through all the re-x steps.
