A friend of a friend's first few steps in hyperspace consisted mostly of things like an enormous ancient american motif style structure, with the blocks constantly cascading/reshaping & communicating. It was all black & white, and it was all there was. Then my friend noticed a small scarab type beetle in 1 of these patterns (or ON the pattern, as it was distinct and of another dimension). From the body of this tiny beetle emanated the most intense beam of light imaginable. Think all of the lights of Las Vegas condensed to a pin point, streaming out in the most intense beam type pattern. This beam of light spiraled in every direction, every dimension, and simultaneously was creating all that was. Very intriguing. A few days later, this friend had their first Breakthrough...
This friend had just enjoyed some spice and had the familiar "WOW... Here we go!!!" feeling, only more intense and faster than ever before... Until my friend realized that it did not work. My friend was walking around their place of work with a couple other friends, thinking about how disappointing it was to be in the "real world" after being so sure they were on their way to orbit. My friend continued to walk around at "work", and noticed that they were not actually working there. A series of beings were working there, all about 6 feet tall, grayish skin. Every time my friend tried to focus on their faces, the details became wildly obscured. These beings were all dressed in khakis and polo shirts, and spent most of their time poking their heads out from around corners to observe my friends from a distance.
Then my friend opened their eyes, and realized that they had not been at work. They had actually been sitting in a chair, in complete darkness, in the comfort of their own home, listening to 3rd eye by Tool. My friend then realized that the experience was not in fact a disappointment as had been assumed just moments before. They realized that they had actually broken through so quickly, that their entire reality (or at least their access to whatever one would like to interpret reality as) was changed before they even had a chance to notice. It was so real and profound, and has given my friend a fine illustration of the "intellectual black hole" mentioned so often by Mckenna. My friend hypothesized that these "beings" projected themselves in human attire, in his work environment, to make him feel more comfortable. This way they could observe my friends in a more natural setting.
The moral of the story is that no written language will ever suffice to even begin to scrape the tip of this iceberg...

Odd men in a funhouse that was leaking color from solid iron bars and because of the iron's blank surface he interpreted this as a natural and completely normal occurrence, even when explaining it to me which was outright bizarre
