Hi there!
Swim tried his first extraction on some Acacia Confusa root bark, and unfortunately it didn't work. SWIM had a few white crystals after the drying phase (about .2 g from 100g of root bark) via a STB extraction, but it didn't have any effect when smoked. SWIM tried the following tek (before discovering this wealth of information on these forums) http://www.psychonaut.com/ayahuasca-dmt/36008-how-extract-dmt-easy-low-cost-way.html
However, SWIM is not deterred, and is going for round 2 (but asking questions this time around).
SWIM thinks his mistake was separating the root bark into 5 separate mason jars, and using 50ml naptha in each, then combining. The yield after drying was very gummy in the bottom of the pan, and left a saplike residue that when scraped was brown. No amount of drying seemed to help
SWIM is hopefully going to try more of a hybrid tek this time.
SWIM lives in the USA, so Mimosa is not available to him. SWIM has been able to get his hands on Acacia Confusa though. SWIM is going to try using Cyb's tek (https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/resource.ashx?a=13453) as he hopes the pictorial will help aid to a more effective extraction.
So, now to the question phase if anyone wouldn't mind volunteering some info
1. Can SWIM use Acacia Confusa root bark for this extraction?
2. Can anyone offer some advice as to how to best extract using Acacia Confusa for a novice chemist?
3. Is there a better plant material to use within the USA that is readily available?
Thank you so much in advance.
