First time in Pyramid River

So tonight was my first time to smoke DMT, and it was somewhat on accident. I walked into my roommates room, he was glued to the floor and a friend was on the bed. Our friend just said, "DMT man." He asked me to put on some music, so I put on Deadbeat Summer by Neon Indian, really chill stuff that would affect my trip later. I sat down.

After a few minutes my roommate slowly got up and looked at me and smiled. I took the pipe when he offered it to me.

I normally ingest few psychoactive chemicals besides coffee and I had been drinking beer, but I don't smoke marijuana or do psychedelics. I felt really drawn to try it. After I exhaled, my vision began to vibrate and then it made one big tick to the left. After another hit, everything around me began to erupt into colorful triangles, moving and shifting like typical fractal shapes, yet I was still in the room.

Then time began to speed up and slow down. Every event, before or after or present, was the same thing and my mind would rewind and switch perspectives often. Time just broke down completely which confused me alot. Everything turned into clay and started melt.

My roommate was telling me to hit it again when I broke through.

I shot up into space into a triangular prism. It was like a glass pyramid with a river that I floated on. Light refracted through it hitting everything inside with colors. On the banks were many strange animals and foliage. They were all continuously molding themselves into different creatures. Amidst the animals was something that really caught my attention. It was like a beautiful woman that was also a lizard, her forehead was made of more changing triangles, and when I floated towards her she opened her mouth and shouted flames upwards. It was magnificent. This happened as I shot down the river.
I came back to the room and saw my roommate, a now translucent, beautiful thing of light. He turned into Jimi Hendrix. I then snapped back into the pyramid river and the lizard woman flickered in and out of vision.

While my roommate kept telling me to hit the pipe, I was just cracking up, completely unable to really comprehend anything. My perception of everything was so comically intense I could not even hit the pipe again, even though it would have prolonged the vision. Later I realized how great that would have been but at the moment I was really confused.
Afterwards my whole perception just melted into this fabric that connected me to everything around me. I don't know how else to describe it. I just sensed some sort goodness. I wanted to cry.

I have never sensed such a strong connection to my surroundings. What does anyone else think? Is this a perception of the DMT experience or is a REAL phenomena? I am just in awe at what I experienced. Its profundity makes me want to understand others, the world around me. Thanks for reading, I am definitely going to try it again and articulate my thoughts better another time.

Sounds like quite the introduction to DMT :d I'm glad to hear you had such a beautiful experience. In regards to the reality of the experience is that lots of elements of hyperspace seemingly transcend duality. Things can be both hot and cold, big and small, good and evil, etc...I believe this is the case for consensual reality too, but due to our typically limited scope, and linear approach, we often fail to perceive things as such. I'm beginning to consider that the parameter of "reality" may be viewed in the same way. Hyperspace is both real and not real in much the similar way as consensual reality is real and not real. I wish you the best of luck on your journeys.

Thanks global. Yeah the duality is really interesting because I felt that nothing was mutually exclusive which allows opposing beliefs to be equally "true".
And Purges, lol thanks dude.
Visty, great question. I want to do it again to understand some things better. The connectivity was a great feeling that I'd wanna implement in my life. Also the pyramid vision lasted for 15 seconds so id like to stay in that headspace a little longer.

not every one hopes to gain anything from it. jumping in to it with no idea whats going to happen u dont expect anything. personally traveling to this other universe striping u of every sense of being human is good for me i dont expect it to give me anything but im extremely grateful for what i do learn.

visty's question somewhat makes sense to me, since I don't normally take mind altering substances. I actually asked myself why I would want to do it again. That was to fully experience the visions and sensations. It's like I glimpsed around the corner and now I want to walk into the room. On a forum about DMT, questioning its use can seem strange, but I think knowing what one wants out of the experience can be really useful.

Sounds like the spice has shown you some beauty.

I loved your report, your memory of the experience is really good.

It surely sounded like a magical journey, i loved the description of the lizard women you saw.
Thanks for sharing.

Am hoping to hear some more from you in the future.

Doctor Mantus- Gracias. It really was a beautiful experience. Like what the fuck, this is so magnificent I can't contain myself. Later when I explained the trip to my friends, they were mostly surprised by how lucid it was. I have yet to understand the symbolism of it but another experience should do the trick. :)
