Floating Tremolo Vs. Blocked Tremolo (Musical Opinions Wanted)

Alright so the dimes were more of a temporary fix. After a while they started to move around and threw off the tuning. Wood is better, obviously, I just didn't have the necessary materials at that moment. But now I have blocked my tremolo with a piece of broken wood (got it from one of those wooden puzzles). It is jammed in there really well and will not move.
Will take pic whenever my camera is done charging. It still looks a bit unprofessional but it works much better than the dimes!
