Hi all,

Due to discussion in this thread I split up the active discussions between the main forum and the nursery. Both are now visible next to each other, if needed you can collapse one or both with the - sign on the appropriate bar.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Yeah, this is a great solution to the problem with nursery posts flooding the "active discussions"! Thanks! :)

Hi
When I - the nursery so I can just see the forums active topics, and I look at a thread then come back to the main page, it -'s both the nursery and the forums active topics.
it seems they are linked somehow
is it supposed to be this way?

That seems like a pretty big change to have implemented so easily. Tell me Traveler do you have a duplicate lab environment where you test changes before you implement them online? Otherwise I have to say that you seem rather adept at on the fly production changes.

Yes, I have a development environment to test the changes before putting them into the wild. Thought copying that change from development to production is rather easy.

Then again, this change was so easy that I was stumped by the fact that it was suddenly finished. Just 4 files, one table change, one stored procedure, one new property to two objects, some minor code change and voila! ;)

Kind regards,

nice Trav! when i just visited this site, i was like "wtf is this split screen..my computer fucking up again." then i realized it was a format change, and found this thread.
Awesome:d

I like the change allot. I just hope all of us remember that it is our duty as nexians to visit the nursery side with regularity. Many of the new members need some words of wisdom from experienced members.

In order for this nice new change to work we have to be a part of both sides.

Nice.
