I wrote a recount of my first experience with DMT in this forum about a month ago, but I recently completed a much fuller and well written recount on my blog.
First DMT Experience
First DMT Experience

Awesome! Congrats on the experience and that others saw what you saw.
Sometime we are going to figure this DMT thing out!!
So maybe you were all in the same portal location type thing at that time to get there.
One guy on here says a tone (note) can trigger a trip to the same place.
My latest theory is that what we are experiencing are programs that we trigger.
Programs that are very sophisticated and filled with deep archetypal imagery.
I feel that there is a certain part of the dmt experience that has been set up to measure and monitor life in the universe.
We are captive and transfixed on bizarre sometimes scary imagery playing out with insane speed.
We are confronted with alien entities trying to communicate with us but never quite conveying they're message.
This is a standard theme. Over and over this occurs.
I am suggesting that while our attention is completely focussed on the experience, there is some kind of automated program that is
sampling or measuring us , perhaps our DNA code or some other telltale marker that identifies what we are as a biological lifeform.
I'm suggesting that some of the crazy insane stuff we are witnessing is a synthetic program of some sort.
Check it out next time there some crazy stuff in your face, the feeling of interaction is an illusion.
Its a game of some kind. I'm convinced that alot , Not all, of the entity things are totally fake .
They are designed to scare and intrigue us, something designed it to be this way.
Its possible that it was set in motion a long long time ago and has been refined by human and other biological entities like ourselves over time.
It is self modifying so it builds on the input of our collective experiences over time. Thats why its filled with so much archetypal variation.
i'm not saying its the whole story but definitely part of it.
What i'm saying here is based on my own experience over the course of a number of years of steady work with this stuff.
Its a very tricky tricky thing thats for sure.
I think it's more then set and setting, it's the entire state of your life. Your everything. Your diet, your mood, your karma, etc,
Exceptionally well written, though I have to agree with the insistence that DMT is the the most powerful of hallucinogens. 5meo-DMT is much more active, and Ibogaine also seems to be a more exhaustive experience if not as visually spectacular. Maybe I'm nitpicking but I just feel that sensationalizing DMT or labeling it an end-all be-all among tryptamines could contribute towards misunderstanding in effect to the uninformed reader.

I do not mean to detract from the insightful replies that have been so far posted, but I am just now coming out of a syrian rue + mimosa trip and am not at all interested in trying to explain my experience. I'm not much in the way of seeking answers to all of life's mysteries. I don't exactly know how this chemical does what it does and maybe that's the point of it all. I have never successfully smoked freebase DMT, although I surely will in coming weeks, so I cannot relate directly to the OP's experience. I could try to interpret what happened, but for the moment I just accept everything for what it is. I have hardly scratched the surface of hallucinogenic substances so I have no perspective on what is or isn't the most powerful, but the oral DMT experience has a sort of finality to it. I'm not particularly interested in a powerful experience and instead would prefer a meaningful one that shapes and defines me. And that's what I get every time.

This has to be one of the best written trip reports (I prefer the term 'journey reports') I have seen. Thank you very much for taking your time to put the article together. Needless to say: I can relate to a lot of what you have said in your report. You definitely have a talent for talking about the inconceivable
Thanks a bunch!Purges said:A most excellent write up! 8)
