Could one do this?

1. Take ground/powdered rue, and ground/powdered mhrb/acrb/chali and mix the powders together

2. Do IPA/Ethanol pulls on the mixed powder and evaporate

3. Crush/powder the resulting tar and encapsulate

4. Dose

is the closest thing I have seen done......

why is this not done more often and with rue as well (and together as suggested)?

This is an interesting topic.

I would not combine crude extracts though, as it is hard to tell the alkaloid content (the OP of the linked forum also just guessed).

Another issue with crude extract is the peak offset between harmaline and harmine; and the psychoactivity of tetrahydroharmine.

I plan to make some pharmahuasca, but first test the combined harmaline+harmine (HCl salt) extract with DMT fumarate.

If this works out well, the next improvement will be using just harmaline (or harmine?), possibly in a single capsule.

How about putting dmt salt in a capsule and then taking a large capsule and putting the dmt capsule in it and isolated harmala salts around it, so by the time the inner capsule dissolves, the harmalas will already be absorbed!

I like it! DIY single dose time release Pharmahuasca.
Finding which MAOI mix is best, with the way the gel caps dissolve, here is potentially interesting.
Will R&D this one with time.

I would have thought Acidified water would have been the best and cheapest solvent. But who knows?

Excellent idea about the double capsule setup!

Maybe the DMT and harmalas can be mixed with some kind of edible clay to harden and be released slower (like some extended release tablets/capsules).

I found a moderate dose of DMT fumarate and harmala hydrochloride fit in a 00 capsule easily so 00-000 capsules or even 0-00 would do.

A nice experiment would be to place the double capsule in warm acidic water (to simulate stomach acid) and observe the release by pH or color change.

The question is whether such capsule would stay long enough in stomach to dissolve before entering the intestine. Or would it work even in the intestine? Then some eneric coating would work.

A simple way to do this would be to put harmalas and DMT in seperate capsules, and wait just five minutes after the harmala capsule for the DMT capsule. This would pretty much ensure that the harmala capsule will be active when the DMT capsule dissolves, but still put you close enough to consuming together that the separation will be negligible.

Personally, I get good inhibition at 20 minutes in but mileage may vary.

Isn't that what people have been doing? I don't see having 2 capsules as simpler than a single one honestly....

Well honestly, by the time the ipa pulls of the mixed mimo/rue powder have evaporated, scraped together, and ground down, what you would be left with is likely a tarry/clay-like substance already......that's why I was suggesting just putting the resulting tar in a single capsule.....it should be somewhat "time-releasy", should it not?

Ayahuasca is usually brewed with force and light plant together, but since it's not purified alkaloids, the body takes time to metabolize the liquid/sludge and it is in a sense a time-release liquid delivery system for the harmalas and the spice.......pharmahausca not so much, so I would assume taking purified harmalas and spice together in capsules would be less effective than drinking an actual brew made with the combination of the plants.......

This full spectrum extract method, however, i believe could be a hybrid of the standard mimo-rue anahuasca and the pharmahuasca isolate capsules, offering the capsulated convenience of the pharmahuasca setup, with the added benefit of the brew-like time-release aspect (as the body takes longer to metabolize the full-spectrum tar) that can allow for a single capsule dosing (without counting redosing), which would allow for one not having to worry about timing/spacing etc. mid-experience.
