Similarly, an ankylosaurus might have used its knobbly appendages as anchoring points for enormous, flamboyant plumes of feathers and spent most of its time singing and dancing, rather than bludgeoning each other and any nearby velociraptors or whatever, as the bloodthirsty, war-jaded palaeontologists of an earlier time appear to have imagined.
