further cleaning up of yellowish bufotenine..

a friend has now collected and dried his bufotenine crystals which are a bit too yellow. the extract is yellow/amber.. when it's hot it turns to little dark puddles. but when cooled and scraped up with a razor it turns into this yellowish amber powder which sparkles very nicely. could he clean it up by washing it in room temperature xylene? he doesn't have any heptane or MEK so that wouldn't work for him.

SWIM has also heard that to remove some of the sticky stuff one should bake it in the oven for a while..
