ganja spirit?

Some throw around ideas of Ayahuasca being relatable to a grandmother with qualities which connect to that archetype in man. Peyote or sp as being grandfather like. Whereas the plant we know and adore has very curious qualities as an entheogenic plant teacher. I come from a childhood laced with the continuous consumption of copious amounts of canibus which was a self soothing mechanism utilized in the wake of a lot of early trauma. During this stage of life I experienced none of the healing qualities as my intent was in entirety recreational in nature.

Fast forward to 12 years ago: I had my first handful of experiences wherein I experienced what I can describe as the plant Spirit of this sacred herb helping me take a look at aspects of my mind which could be said to be distortions or boundaries. The experience shines a light in dark place sometimes resulting in epiphany/revelation though it can be highly unpredictable as it seems to only show up for healing one out of two times. I wonder if it is more like a lazy uncle who likes to laugh at almost anything half of the time but has another side of seriousness when it comes to assisting in self-correction.

The slipperiness of certain thoughts whilst in thc space has always been bizarre. Both in social interactions and during solo meditations. Sometimes it feels like an outright trickster when it reveals something meaningful followed by it vanishing from your midst a split second later. Sometimes I'm able to fish it back and as long as it isn't taken a second time I'll be able to further work with it. Lol.

The line between recreation and healing is often blurry indeed. Perhaps there is something to be gleaned from the fact that quite a few humans use it with no intent at all to take a deeper looking into oneself. The pleasant effects of it are surely a part of its makeup but as with any character personalities can be for whatever reasons complicated.

I far prefer ingestion over combusting with vaporization being second best. Combusting it is unsettling to my constitution as is tobacco. The longer duration through ingestion is much preferable as well as the experience of it going a little less straight to the head/mind. Somatic awareness seems more active when ingesting this plant as well as quite a few others with both options at hand.

My cockamamie thoughts. Plant "spirits" are aspects of ourselves we use as proxies for whatever we might be searching for. However, plants and chemicals might be able to develop a "gestalt" made up to a large extent of the experiences of the people who have taken them. Years ago I pondered if the LSD gestalt was more prone to bad trips and recreation since it was discovered in a lab and people took it willy nilly at first (and still), whereas mushrooms were much less prone to bad trips and had that nature connection, etc., due to centuries of serious indigenous use.

This is more along the lines of physicists theorizing that consciousness influences and (some say) actually constructs the universe. I do believe there are levels which exist that we are not aware of. How much of that exists, who knows?

It's funny you say this because I have a similar counter opposing view in mind to what was expressed in my share. I can't tell you which is right. Perhaps the apophatic approach to understanding is the best. When I name it that naming becomes a self imposed limitation.

The Spirit in me is the same spirit in these "other" characters? The awareness behind all lenses is one in the same as in Indras net of jewels. Hmm maybe I need to put down the Haoma. Indra may have concocted the right potion and drank plenty allowing entry into the somanet.

Perhaps Spirit = Consciousness. I have def experienced a Consciousness to Cannabis. She is healing, kind, teaching, giving. She can also be harsh when abused. What an amazing plant that her products can be smoked, vaped and eaten. With the Hemp variety she is also food, shelter and clothing as well as fuel and lubricant to run our motors and machines and cars and motorcycles. Cannabis IS the Giving Tree.

I like to think of medical cannabis a subset of recreational cannabis since recreation in itself can be a source of healing. This explains my relationship from the very beginning in my adolescent years where I was searching for something that helps me through life whether it is simply to feel good or better.

I definitely feel a connection and my beliefs support that it is spiritual in nature especially if you grow your own. From seed to smoke forms a bond with cannabis that is impenetrable. I prefer to smoke then vape followed by eating. I love the cerebral euphoria and the realms that are accessed that are similar in nature to other psychedelics in high doses such as when dabbing combined with edibles.

I do have a high tolerance and mitigate it with vape intervals but working with 20-30% thc strains and growing different strains with high terpene content helps to stay heavily medicated. At low doses the anxiolitic and neuroplastic properties help to stay focused and reduce stress.
