Hi all, I'm no stranger to psychedelics, started off with mushrooms in the early 90's when the rave scene hit.
Altering my state of consciousness has always been a fascinating journey of self discovery that i've never taken lightly. I've always had the utmost respect for mind altering substances.
I've been wanting to try DMT for quite some time now, years in fact. I've read numerous books, watched endless youtube documentaries and listened to peoples accounts, good and bad. In essence, over the years I've been preparing my mind.
Anyway, a friend of mine (also a dmt virgin) turns up with a gram about 3 days ago. We had just finished a long 12 hour shift at work. It was a lovely warm june evening just before dusk. We found a beautiful spot away from civilization up in the Welsh hills. We made a pipe out of a potato, found a nice opening in the woods and sat against a log.
Here goes, I couldn't hardly catch my breath from excitement and nerves. When I did manage to calm my breathing down I took a big long hit and held it in as long as I could, letting it out very slowly. Even before the last of the smoke was out of my lungs I looked at my mate and could see some kind of red chakra, 3 or 4 dots of light going up through the middle of his body. There was also white sparks emanating from him. I took a few more good puffs and fell back into the grass. All I could say at this point was "holy shit!" . . . words can't describe what I was experiencing but you all have a good idea.
Faces seem to come out of everywhere, everything seemed alive. There was also this strange resonance sound I can't quite put my finger on, maybe it was the sound of me tuning in to another dimension.
It was one of the best experiences I've had, if not the best. Amazing, beautiful and peaceful. Well worth the wait and i'm glad it's not something i rushed into without knowing anything about.
The day after, I had quite a bit left over so I went right out deep into the mountains on my own and found a nice spot. Just amazing . . . . I melted into the multiverse and was everything and everywhere at the same time.

Very beautiful experience indeed!

I liked your report syncrhonoise

The experience is outside the realm of social construct. Words can't fufill the need to describe. We're part and parcel. We're a piece, and yet deep down, we contain the whole. Forever spiraling into infinity. Glad it clicked, and that you got to experience this ineffable state. Tat Tvam Asi

Much love,

nice report syncrhonoise, welcome to the Nexus

im taking a trip to Wales next month for my 2 year anniversary of discovering the molecule and I am very much looking forward to getting nice and high in the hills and watching the sunset, Wales is awesome (when its dry and sunny).

I'm really interested in your reference to sparks. I have a difficult time describing my deeper meditation sessions to people with no experience, however, the feeling of sparks forming a stream of power/energy through my body is always consistent. Very interesting post thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the report, I have to say I'm envious of your setting, I'd love me some Welsh hills but alas, we don't have them here.

We made a pipe out of a potato
That makes me very curious... How does one go about making one of these?

Quite easy really, you get a nice sized spud, core out the center half way, then core the top for the bowl, silver paper, then prick holes with a pin to make a gauze, sprinkle fag ash and away to go 😁

It works very well and the moistness of the potato cools the intake . . .

Hope the weather stays nice for you :) And you never know, you could even bump into me and my butty up to no good, deep in the woods around Brecon 😁

It's been a few days now and I'm still shell-shocked. I've told a few close friends about my amazing little adventure, in fact I can't shut up about it. Trying to explain is quite difficult but they still sit and listen in awe 😁

Little things I used to worry about, for the time being don't mean shit anymore (excuse my french)
I suppose having such a mad experience would put pay to any random stupid thoughts. They will probably creep back into my head by the end of the weekend.

Maybe it's even altering my DNA as I type and sip rum (on the rocks) . . . . Either way, I'm buzzed!

and thanks for the nice warm welcome :)
