golden goo glazed on glass

So, after smoking straight spice in a glass bubble meth-style creep pipe, the bubble is glazed with a golden-hued fast hardening thin puddle - which i assume is the inevitable portion of burnt spice (or is it...?).

Is this material active, or have all the tryps been burnt out of it?

Two reasons for the question:

to make sure there are no surprises the next time I smoke a controlled dose on top of it, and to see if I should melt and vape it up as a bonus smoke, or IPA the goo outta there.

If it is active, it might explain this.

At any rate, it looks like the Prima Materia of the Magnum Opus!

Heck yeah it's active. When it's gone it will either be boiled away with nothing visible left behind, or what you see on the glass will be obviously burnt remnants. That golden goo is just recrystalized (and possibly now oxidized) spice. Top it off and go kiss the mantids.

Id think that is just solidyfied spice, that is sure to be very active still:)

Try and vape the rest of it, or you could just wash it with IPA and evap.

Thanks guys - glad I asked before the IPA attack I ahd planned! Mantids here I come (but be gentle, probe in orifices only, please...)
