IMO these 2 hour sets are pretty dope. If u like these, your in luck because Big Fish Recording's head honcho Lazy-Rich has been putting out 2 hour mixes showcasing his labels artists for 2 years now. There are upwards of 24 mixes available for free. Thats 48 hours of squelching moog basslines and slamming beats. The first hour consists of Lazy-Rich playing exclusive tracks from his label. the second hour is reserved for electro house legends like Dirty Loud, Darth & Vader, felguk, Far Too Loud to name a few.
Edit: I know this thread said 'techno'. I never know what people mean by that term. Detroit techno (Derrick May)...minimal, hardcore techno? I went to a ton of raves in and around Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison in the early 90's. Back then the Midwest scene was into mostly hardcore and acid techno.
I lived in the Bay Area in the mid 90's. People like the Hardkiss Bros, Dj Dan etc. played a lot of acid, breakbeat techno.
These mixes consist mostly of dirty electro...which IMO has more in common with Derick May than Juan Atkins.
I hope I'm not upsetting any techno purists, if there is such a thing:d
