As a first time grower, i followed this guide.
I had some old spore (probably 2 or 3 years) prints lying around. At the moment I'm waiting for the spores to colonize the whole filter box.
It doesn't really say where I should be storing the box, so I have just kept it in a couple of garbage bags.
I'ts been 10 days and they are growing really slowly, which got me thinking they might need more air exchange than they get from the plastic bags. I guess that's what the filter on the top is for. The box is about 10% colonized, if that, but are growing at the same slow steady pace.
How and where should I be keeping my filter boxed during colonization?
