Read about India, people are starving to death. The world functions this way by design, I feel strongly that it doesn't have to/shouldn't be this way.

when all this began, I had really high hopes that through this difficulty, we as a collective species would come to some conclusions about our current situation and make some creative and postive changes that would affect us as a people. Maybe it is a consequence of living in this ####ed up country, the USA, but frankly all I'm witnessing is a doubling-down on the status quo. When I see my countrymen screaming about their freedom, and the only association with it is the ability to get back to their wage-slave jobs and spend more money on haircuts and guns, I just do not know what to do.
I could vote until I'm blue, but for who and what? There's nothing there.
