Hello. I was wondering if anybody knows if the FASA technique can be used on freebased harmalas? Seems as though harmine/THH fumarate would be a good option for longterm storage. Thanks!
Store it in whatever salt form you like. Solubility of both harmala alkaloids and fumaric acid in acetone is pretty poor though, so be prepared to use a lot of solvent. Or just convert to the hydrochloride with a Manske precipitation instead.
Another possibility is to crash harmala citrates from ethyl acetate, or maybe CASA them out of butyl acetate.

Thanks for the response. I just had one more question regarding FASA. If two molecules of dmt bond with one of fumaric acid why does it call for 309mg acid for 1000 mg dmt? Seems as though 500mg (2to1) would be more apt. What am I missing?
Molecular weight calculations - you have to take into account the relative molecular weights of DMT and fumaric acid, and scale the proportion accordingly. Fumaric acid has a lower molecular weight than DMT, hence less of it is needed.
In that sense, one ought to remember that a surprisingly tiny amount of fumaric acid will react with harmaline or THH (if it's similarly a 2:1 ratio), but that harmine is not basic enough to react with more than one equivalent of FA (probably - one can always compare the respective pKₐ and pKb figures).
