Have you ever forgot that you had a breakthrough?

Hello everyone.

I am curious whether anyone has forgotten that they have had a breakthrough, until they were experiencing their next breakthrough? what I mean is during your waking life you completely forgot you had ANY experience at all.

If I'm honest, based on the experiences i've read about and videos i've watched, I can't be completely sure that i've had a breakthrough.(I have once, I just don't remember anything at all about it other then the lead up).

I had an experience tonight that only when I "entered the space" did I realize that I had that experience(at least a similar one) before. Had no recollection of it until I "got there".

I'm not actually 100% sure it was a full breakthrough.

Yes I know this is vague. I'm just not prepared to completely type everything out at the moment.
I'll be completing my intro essay soon and will post a couple of my experiences in the next few days.
I'm not one to "talk" about myself much. I don't find it difficult if someone asks me questions(i'll literally answer anything,) but I do find it difficult to just throw it out there.

If anyone has had a similar experience let me know.
thank you

based on the topics in this thread maybe this should be in the "First steps in Hyperspace" thread?
Mods if you think so please move, thank you.

edited slightly for some clarity.

Yeah, but only after having so many. Unless the experience is very unique, a lot of the stereotypical breakthroughs blend into each other.

The feeling is undeniable, but you can't evoke that feeling fully in sober life. Only a shadow of a memory.

I know what your talking about... I’ve broken through on shrooms before and like you said, though I can only remember bits and pieces of the blur I do know that any very heavy psychedelic states I’ve been in since always give me that feeling of “I’ve been here before” ... it’s a pretty unique feeling. A lot of time when I’ve reached this point I’ve also fabricated things that never happened in my head. I once was convinced for some reason the police were coming to arrest me (though I was just laying there Tripping balls) ... I don’t really like taking it to that point on long-lasting psychedelics. It’s one thing to completely detach from reality for 10 or 15 minutes... getting stuck for hours though usually doesn’t end well for me
