The pH of your solution decreases after every pull. If you have the room, add a touch of base solution to your extraction every time you add solvent to prevent this from occurring.

duuuuude thank you, that didn't even occur to me.... I also have an economically viable way to get that last bit out, on the last pull flood the whole thing with water, unless you have a proper chemistry setup, then this thread is pretty much useless, I am talking about jug pulling though, which I feel a lot of kids are doing and really need the help with.

FAQ... Plenty of regular salt will take care of emulsions, so will more lye, so will vibrations, and even better, a mix of those

What is different about using a jug and using chemistry equipment that changes the ability to add some more base?

not adding more base. it was a hasty post anyway, as adding straight distilled H20 dropped the pH a WHOLE lot and made the whole emulsion a lot worse. I've learned my lesson hastily posting while in the midst of a cannabliss.
