I'm a newly registered member so I thought I'd stop by here and post a little introduction. I've been using psychoactive substances for a number of years with a particular interest in psychedelics. DMT is probably my favourite, I have a little tattoo of the molecule.

I've completed a handful of extractions over the years using Gordotek with some success. My last few extractions haven't been great though. I figured I'd bought a batch of low quality bark which I'd tried to extract from a few times with no success. I recently purchased new bark from a different source and am in the process off evaporating the excess naptha off of the first pull but its yielded very little. I'm a little disappointed but figured maybe its time to try a new tek.

Its been some time since I last used DMT. I remember smoking last on a whim, a small amount not expecting much. I encounter some entities which appeared as orbs of light and they moved in the strangest way, if I tried to look directly at some of them they would warp out of my field of vision. They wove a translucent ribbon, like film which contained images and knowledge about Buddhism. They came to me and appeared to be giving me gifts of light, it was a very beautiful trip.

I can't wait to visit the DMT realm again. I'm hoping it might spark some creativity and get me back into painting. Anyway, nice to be here and meet you all

I too have a molecular tattoo of DMT on my scapula. Guess you could say we're committed :lol:

I think you may get better results from one of Cyb's teks. While I commend Gordotek for the attempt, I have never had very much success with it and haven't read much in the way of success from others' attempts either.

What was the dose of that last trip?

What other psychedelics tickle your fancy?

I'll be sure to check out Cyb's tek, I've been eyeing up Marsofold's but still deciding and I'll be needing to order some more ingredients. I remember the first time I smoked DMT, it was given to me by a friend who I was living with at the time. He'd extracted with a more experienced friend with one of the teks which use lye and you can definitely taste the difference IMO. It will be my first time using lye myself which will be interesting.

I don't remember the dose of my last trip, though it was much smaller than others I've done, the last wee bit from my last batch and some pipe scrapings. Wasn't full blast off but surprisingly strong and pleasant. I've found that with mushrooms, sometimes you'll take a wee dose and be really surprised at the strength while other times you'll try take a larger dose and be disappointed. Psychedelic roulette, adds to the fun :lol:

Ketamine is always a safe pick for me. I don't find it as profound and insightful as some of the other psychedelics but I always enjoy it and its never too scary even when intense. I love its painkilling qualities and find it's awesome for tai chi/yoga/cloud gazing. Excellent antidepressant which has benefits for a couple weeks after use and helps unstick difficult emotions. If I have a bag I find it impossible to resist but never have a problem quitting once its gone and I have other responsibilities to attend to.

Acid I find to be high risk, high reward. Love it but rarely use it since it scares the shit out of me. My acid trips always have super scary parts and super insightful, creative parts. I find this one hard to plan since sometimes I'll find myself face to face with something that will make me scream. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but you don't want to find some cop showing up to your door when your on acid... Sorry Mr Officer I was just dealing with some repressed trauma and definitely not getting murdered.

Liberty caps I've done twice, both great, they have a definite DMT kind of feel to them. Liberty caps, mixed experience. They often make me feel unwell in the body which kind of puts a damper on the trip despite parts being quite nice. I remember the last time I did cubes feeling as though I couldn't breathe and being grateful to have learned some controlled breathing exercises to try concentrate on to get through it.

MDMA is great, not sure why I don't feel the need to use it more often (I've been sitting on a bag for a year). I guess the connection scares me a little so I'm always putting it off for the right time.

2cb has been mixed with some really beautiful, bright visuals and not so much head fuck but sometimes I find the body aches way too much and it takes over the whole trip. I've tried some of the NBOME series and AMT too but that was over a decade ago, I remember it being nice but vomiting a lot coming up.

Haha, I have a DMT necklace and have been considering a tattoo.
It is a very special molecule.

I am sorry you've been having so many frustrations with your extraction attempts but I am glad you are not giving up.

There are a lot of tried and true TEKs in the Wiki and I think you will find it be a good resource. Also the Forum is a good resource to find answers to questions.

I hope you experience success and will soon be posting trip reports on more encounters with entitie.
