Thank you SO2, for the warm welcome and encouragement.

This spice was acquired from Acacia Confusa using Q21Q21's dry-tek.

Yes they are beautiful. So beutiful in fact, Im a bit hesitant to scrape them up from the dish, as there is a very thin oily film below them.

1st pull maybe 5 hours from start. This is my second go at this tek and I am finding the value in moderate, close to room temp during the process, once the naptha is present anyway. Seems to have pulled less oils,(or nmt?) as these crystals are very pure looking.

After freeze precip, the naptha was decanted off back into extraction vessel.
It has been a coule days since that pull, going to wait 2 more days atleast before doing the next pull to let the lime do its work.

I started out with approx 150 grams of finely shredded bark. I did put much effort to pulverize this bark best I could with equipment I had. Excess lime was applied and went more moist on the consistency as opposed to last time i ran this tek with powdered bark. Hoping these variations will compensate for drawbacks from not having it finely powdered.

Fingers crossed and hopes up, that pull #2 will return a bigger yield. :)
