Hey there!

I'm a long time member of the old forum, although I was never that active.

I've been extracting plant magic for over 10 years now, and after a really long break I feel the call to get at it again.

DMT was a life changer for me, and smoking my kitchen brewed extracts eventually grew to the calling to go to the Amazon, learn with the guardians of the ancient traditions and with the plants themselves.
And to a certain extent I always kept the nexus in my heart as the little information hub that opened the first doors of what became the most transformational journey of my life (and still ongoing).
It is beautiful to be back and realize how much this community has grown in terms of research and available information (and now beautifully designed to fit the new technological demands).
Although I'm not a very science oriented person and don't have that much to add on that regard, I hope to be able to contribute in my own way to the community.

Science is cool, but, ultimately, experience is where it is at. Something that you likely have in abundance.

I'm new with very little plant experience. Still a DMT virgin, old cannabis user long time ago, and a recent one-time psihuasca initiate.

My life-path and interactions have taught and steered me toward consulting the plants to illuminate the voids in-between my current perceptions. With the idea to shift my perceptions into a realm that can closely follow my heart-strings.

I'm growing San Pedro from seeds (seedlings are a year old now) and a few from pups. That will take a couple of years.

For whatever reason the area of Peru has been trying to reach out to me. Starting somewhere around my 8th year in life when I was gifted an artifact from the area. Sadly I have lost the gift early in life. From thereon little hints have been placed every so often. Slowly I'm connecting the hints and at my own pace, and life-willing, I may illuminate the voids. Maybe they are already lit, I just don't know what I'm looking at.

The psihuasca is still working in the background, I can 'feel' it. Shifts have taken place and I'm learning what I'm perceiving. I also start to notice my own 'ego' fighting these changes, that in itself is very illuminating.

Anyway, welcome back to your 'other life'.

Thank you so much for the heartfelt feedback. It's wonderful to hear how the information you found here has proved to be of such value in your life.

Do you remember your old handle? If it meant anything to you to link back to the time when you originally joined the Nexus, it should be possible to merge this account with your old one, perhaps if you posted a few things and wanted the opportunity to review them? Just a thought [Having a new identity here at the new forum, I went for the fresh start approach myself, so either of the choices I find quite understandable. Doing nothing has its appeal at the right moments!]

As you can see I'm not that active online, and that was even more so in the old account. So I think it's not really worth it. I will try to be a bit more active with this new account and see if that gets me a full membership.

Technically speaking, you're already a full member, i.e. you have access to all subfora that regular members have access to. The old system with the questionnaire and required approval by upvotes is currently not in place.
