Hello, my name is not MisterMint

Migrated topic.

MisterMint

Rising Star
Hello dear Nexanians,
as you can guess my name is not MisterMint. (Yes, the title already said so). But from now on, only in this place, and only YOU may call me this name.

Names make things easier sometimes, like for communication. Sometimes they don't. Like for giving names to the universal power that drives all of this. (Like bees, and flowers and love and all this stuff.) Because then people mights begin to argue about the name, sometimes even start wars about that. That is pretty annoying and should be avoided in my opinion.

Anyhow, Hello! I am (not) MisterMint!! :!:

Some more or less fun facts about a guy I know from the past:
He has have been reading along Nexus for about two years now - especially about teks. But also other stuff. He is a techy, but no chemist. Tried one of the Bufo extractions, felt nauseous and a tiny buzz. Will try again. He did some LSD and shrooms back when he was young and slim. Not anymore. (Also did alot other stupid stuff that makes you sleepy, crazy awake or violantly happy these days..) Still drinks socially and smokes herbs on occasion. Loves to vape nicotine all day, adds in CBD sometimes. Did 3 weeks iboga microdosing with caapi this summer, astonished that something can be that subtle yet strong at the same time. Will do again next summer holidays for sure.

So, about this guy back then: As he didn't know about importance of set&setting back then, he had some very confussling and fearful moments. Or was is ages? Hard to tell. Still very cautious with all psychedelics now. "Utter respect" I guess. Thanks god it wasn't me! God? Vishnu! Allah!! Ah, please not again!!! So confussling!!!!
And I guess long substance experience lists are something that matches better late night Erowid reports than Nexus..

But in general this guy is interested. I believe. (Sometimes.) He also seems to think twice before he posts. So at least when writing things on the interwebs he seems to have learned to be respectful to all beings. (It's this self reflection thing so many people talk about in here I guess.) Sometimes he tries to be funny. This can be annoying.

So, before I start to waste your time: As I know guys from the past, I would be happy to post once in a while when I have questions about teks or ingredients. Like about the new, very interesting Space Booze² PDF, where is says apricot kernels, but I am not sure if its the regular ones, or the bitter ones. The latter could have some unpleasant side effects in larger amounts, like death or nasty stuff like that.. and as I am a firm believer in the ancient theory that death should be avoided - if possible - it is quite important for me to get this clear before I feed my rabbit with these kernels.

So: knock, knock knock.
Please let me in.
I promise to behave.:p

Sincerly your MisterMint

PS: Do you know Lattice from Tipper?
It always makes me smile.

Hello there, nice of you to write an introduction essay and welcome to the nexus!

We've just met on the nexus chat, so I'm happy that you've came along, and hope you drop by occasionally even though sometimes the Welcome Area can be slow.

So how are your trips going lately? If you had some bad experiences, are you may be doing some healthy lifestyle changes to keep it a bit moar healthy, like meditation, exercise, or good sleep? :D

MisterMinit is on depersonalization to refer to something that is not itself?

That you shared is fine, at first it brought to mind some Egyptian scale. But it's like a kind of trance with dubstep lines.

Hey there MisterMint! It was nice talking with you recently about your gardening project and things. I'm the guy that wrote the SpacePaste² recipe (adapted from the work of others cleverer than me), so you're welcome to fire whatever questions you may still have in my direction. The best formulation that I came up with in that respect was a double tincture that I think I described in one of the related threads. That involved making a tincture with the volatile-bearing components and distilling it, then adding the distillate to a fresh batch of all the ingredients. It was pretty special.

My apricot kernels were a brand from New Zealand; I'm not sure about their cyanide content but I soaked them overnight and discarded the water. Also, the tincture-making took several weeks of resting time which gives Blausäure fair time to evaporate. Many of the reactive aroma compounds in the mix will combine with and neutralise HCN as well. As you can see, I appear to have survived. I wouldn't drink that stuff all day, every day anyhow. Not even every month/year.

I hope we'll see a little more of you and your garden soon.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

about depersonalization: I was just joking around the fact, that one should not throw around his realname here, trying to be cryptic-funny maybe, adding something paradox into the mix to get attention. Worked out as it seems.
:want:

about SpacePaste/SpaceBooze: I did some experiments on my own, just a view weeks ago. Simple tincture of fresh ground nutmeg had some quite nice effect. Sadly another test with the other spices added did send me straight to vomitoria, third left me with quite unpleasant nausea for half a day. I guess I overdid pepper and (habanero) chili quite a bit. Thought it could not hurt, was very wrong. My belly started to explain this to me loud and clear minutes after ingestion, and would not stop moaning, until mass ejection was executed. So I might need some time until I can bear the taste again. YACK! Then I might ponder again about the fact, that spices differ a lot in weight, depending in their kind and how fine they are ground, and how this does correlate with the spoons. I also still wonder how important the unroasted pistachios are, as they can not be sourced locally, are quite expensive, and are the only component that can not be added to the mix itself. Thanks for the tip with watering the apricot kernels. I will try this next time, instead of eating half a bag of almonds with my "pernod from hell".

about lifestyle changes to keep it a bit moar healthy, like meditation, exercise, or good sleep: Ehm... yes...ehm...kinda...
