HELP! Napatha is not separating.

Help me please!,


I have added around 250ml of rosonol lighter fluid to a 1/2 pound of powerderd mimosa hostilis root bark basified in 1 liter of water with 8 measured table spoons of lye. it has been around 40 minutes after i stirred the soulution for 20 min, there was no emulsion and the naphtha has not separated from the solvent.

What should i do??????

I'm confused, what do you mean by "no emulsion"?

On everything ive read it said that a bubbly emulsion should arise, i have no bubbles at all. i am following the lazyman's tek.

You're ok. You overdid lye a bit, but that's no issue.
Just suck up Rosonol naphtha on the top with syringe into clean jar and put it into freezer (-20) for the night. You'll see your spice in the morning. Keep your basilified red soup, you can extract more spice from that later with the same naphtha when you get your spice out of it in the morning. Spice should be cleaned though.
