Need some advice / help with this naptha

I think my naptha was too hot when I was mixing it with my lye solution. It appears to have picked up some fats plant contam.

I Did 6 pulls and have an have over kill of naptha.

Do I evap some and try to pour the top naptha off, and leave the goo at the bottom?

Do I heat it back up mix it, and strain with a filter?

Has anyone seen this before?

Any advice is appreciated. I'm a complete noob this is my first pull

i have been doing 3 hot pulls (50c) in a row, using a sous vide, then combining all pulls and leaving at room temp for an hour or so, then moving to the fridge for 2 hours, then the freezer for 12 hours
i use naptha but is heptane better?.

for 100g of mhrb, the total volume of my aqueous solution is 600 ml, (i do not strain the bark mix) i use approx 75-100ml of naptha for each pull, so thats approx 250 ml total in a 6"x10" glass pan.

i feel this is too much naptha, am i correct?.

i have been averaging a 1% yield

I'd freeze it for 48 hours and see what you get, you could always do a recrystallisation with either Naphtha or Heptane to get rid of some of the gunk.

Then by adding lye and naptha it moves the dmt back to the naptha leaving the goo contam in the lye water. Leaving me with less naptha and cleaner extract?

Yessssss this is the best solution for your problem.

So I measured out 900ml of distilled water and added vinegar to a pH of 3. I then added my naotha with all the goo into this solution and stirred.

Thus the dmt should now be in the vinegar water solution.

My question is what is this floating on the water and sinking in the naptha (the middle layer) is this the plant material that was in the bottom of my dish shown in the other pictures
