I am thinking of planning a trip to Amsterdam this summer. Does anyone know of dmt and amsterdam? I googled a bit, but not sure if its legal or not, or if they turn the other cheek. If its legal, anyone know of any ayuhausca clinics there that are good?

P.S. I love cannabis, so even if DMT is not very good in amsterdam, or not safe, I would still want to go.

P.S.S Wheres the best place to stay?

Please tell me of your experiences with this seemingly magical country.

cannabis isn't even legal in amsterdam..and I doubt DMT is..though I think that you can get mimosa rootbark there in the shops and do an extraction.

I dunno where they stand on things like LSD and DMT and extracted mescaline etc...I know they put up with cannabis but it is technically illegal there still.

DMT, mescaline and acid are all illegal there. Pot is illegal but tolerated :)

What kind of place do you want to stay? Hotel, hostel, B&B, campsite?? Do you want to chill out or do you want somewhere lively? There's quite a few possibilities in Amsterdam.

Hmmm I dont know, I want to stay there for a week and I have about 1000 to spend on hotel fair. I just want to stay somewhere nice, it doesnt matter to me if it is in the town or a campsite.

If they have cabins in amsterdam, actually that might be ideal, like perhaps a lodge?

DMT isn't legal there, but it has no priority for the police.
You can buy psychedelic truffles legally and many psychedelic herbs.
you can also take ayahuasca, san-pedro and peyote legally.

There are plenty of camping places around amsterdam

I've stayed at Vliegenbos several times. It has cabins and camping.

I like it because it's a 5 minute boat ride and 15 minutes walk from the centre so it's quite chilled out and quite close at the same time.

uh? they changed the law on it? I was there about 2 year ago, and seriously couldn't go anywhere without smelling the ganja. It was everywhere. In the centre of town there were coffeeshops everywhere, you could just go straight in and pick from a huge selection of strains. When I was there it was legal to sell shrooms.

Yeah you can smoke it and hold up to a certain amount on your person. Like it's said there are laws, but they are not heavily enforced. Mushrooms are all but gone now except truffles.

I always stay in the dirtiest hostel I can find, right in the heart of the city. You're guaranteed to meet some cool people that way. :)

I lived in Holland for 3 years and stayed in a variety of towns but I always loved my season on a campsite near Ter Aar (about 20 miles from Amsterdam).

You might even be better staying in another town - Amsterdam isn't the be all end all in Holland although it does have the highest concentration of smartshops and coffee shops but there are many places that are far nicer (that still have good coffee shops and smartshops). You could always go to Amsterdam for a few days. Check the country out, its great during the summer.

As for DMT, I never came across any when I was there (not through a lack of trying) although you could get Mimosa and the like, hell you could even get dried mushrooms as well as fresh. It might be different now as it's been a few years now since I was there.

believe it or not..we have cafes here in vancouver, canada as well..though they dont sell cannabis, certain places used to. We have cafes you can go into and order coffee, or sit and have dinner, and smoke freely, niether the shop/restaurant owners or authorities bother you..there is even cannabis freindly accodations here just for the cannabis tourists..they even have volcanoes for you to use. You can buy all kinds of entheos, cacti, mimosa, amanita, salvia etc..the only diff between here and amsterdam is you cannot buy cannabis or psilocybin mushrooms at the shops..but they are EVERYWHERE here..so it's not a problem.

I have met people from the US that came here just for those reasons..said they liked it more than amsterdam. I live here though so I would take amsterdam.

Too much?
I couldn't get enough from it, i love the atmosphere there, the people look more free then most other people look.

I also love the water, the bridges and the nostalgic look of the town, the houses painted in black and white, the living boats, the coffeeshops, the ambiance etc.

I love Amsterdam, but DMT is not more available there then it is for you, it is made by people like you and me, by the same methods as we use, by extracting it themselves, and it's just as hard to find there as anywhere else, wich is very hard and not hard at all at the same time, it just depends where you look for it, it's the same with LSD, it's nowhere to be found, and it's everywhere at the same time, you have to know where to look for it.

I once bought a gram from Amsterdam and it costed me 120 euros, if i had known then what i know now, i could've bought myself 1.7kg. of Mimosa instead for that money and extract the stuff myself, but i didn't know any better, and i was looking for DMT for a long time, so i payed that with a huge smile on my face anyways.:d

But Amsterdam has many other great qualities, you can attend guided Ayahuasca ceremonies there aswell, you can buy Peyote, San Pedro, Filosophers Stones, Salvia Divinorum, many different THC based products, and a lot of different "Smart drugs" aswell, there are many great and famous candy and chocolate stores all over town, it's stoners paradise!

I'm just in love with the Amsterdam vibe, and i hope to live there one day.

So DMT containing material and syrian rue can be found legally sold in smartshops? Legal to ship from other countries as well?
I plan to come for four or more months to Netherlands and was curious which city is best place to stay to see oldtown, beach and nature? How expensive rooms are in Amsterdam and are prices similar in other cities?
Smartshops are not only in Amsterdam but as well in Maastricht and Eindhoven. And even then probably psychedelics can mailed legally inside country.

Eindhoven is an ugly city (I live on the border of the city) but hosts some great parties where psychedelics can be found easily. This is mainly due to the large Designer community here. Architecture wise it has some nice buildings but mainly it's quite ugly.
It hosts the Dutch Design Academy and a large technical university. It's the tech/design centre of the Netherlands.
I find the nature around Eindhoven is pretty nice. It's rural with lot's of old farmhouses and nice old villages.

Maastricht is a beautiful city. Old buildings, nice atmosphere, student city. The nature around it is also very nice.

If you're into old architecture, Breda and Groningen are also very beautiful cities. Breda has a lot of spanish influences due to the 80 year war. Furthermore the Hanze cities (Deventer, Zutphen, Kampen) bordering the IJsel are really beautiful old cities.

If you're into astronomy Franeker (Friesland) is a cool place to visit as it hosts one of the worlds oldest planetariums build into a regular old home.

Of course Amsterdam is a must see, but it wouldn't be my main choice to stay there for more than a couple of days.
Close to Amsterdam, the villages Marken, Volendam and Zaanse Schans could be visited which are the typical dutch tourist attractions where busses full of tourists are dropped everyday to shoot pictures and eat ' haring ' .

Hotel rooms are not cheap, but look for a nice Airbnb, there are plenty of that in Amsterdam.

In general public transport is excellent and can bring you anywhere in the Netherlands. It's not very cheap though.

About drug policies. A lot has changed. Some US states have far more liberal policies nowadays. Our justice minister is a very elitair dickhead which will avoid at all costs that things get more liberal on drugs (he's supposed to be a liberal himself, but actually he's a very conservative bastard). He might represent only 10% of the population with his old-fashioned ideas. On top of that he's a terrible liar and I hope he has to resign soon.

I went to Maastricht in December and it is indeed a stunning city with quite a young population (from what I saw at least). I also went to Amsterdam, which was significantly less enjoyable, but I did go 2 days before NYE so it was bound to be packed with people and not too pleasant.

Best thing are obviously magic truffels or even mushroom spores that grow in a week. Mimosa and Caapi are readily available for the same price a magic truffel trip of whichever intensity you like is cheap as hell! Don't recommend cactus though. If you get caught shipping DMT that's gonna cost ya, they are just going to assume it's heroin but won't charge you for it, better to do a quickie extraction though or someone in a smartshop might tell you where to find something, that's probably not big of a deal in Holland. Amsterdam houses so many smartshops and coffeeshops you know just where to look now!

Thats in american dollars. By that I meen maximum.

it is possible to do amsterdam on a tight budget.
but, expect the worst concierge service possible.

dont take the good luggage.
they are kinda socialist there, and will target you.

hire a guide , or expect to waste alot of time.

the general public, is somewhat more aware than the average americaner.
any chem/ extract operations will draw attention.

My suggestion is to have a look at AirBnB, you may find better deals than a hotel room, and also having an apartment may be a better environment for psychedelic experimentation. Just make sure to check the landlords' rules, drug use is explicitly forbidden in many AirBnB apartments (but thankfully not all).

As for legal stuff, the Netherlands police is pretty hard on industrial-scale dealers and manufacturers, but tends to be lenient on small-scale, personal use stuff. For example it's illegal to grow cannabis under artificial light. Grow one plant for single use, you probably won't ever hear of the police (nor they of you), grow a forest for sale on the Darknet, and you'll find yourself in trouble quickly.

The drug economy appears to be built on loopholes and turning a blind eye. It's a bit hypocritical, but seems to work. When they banned mushrooms, the answer of the community was to sell truffles (which somehow escaped the ban) and growkits for the banned mushrooms. All out in the open.

As others have said, lots of botanicals are readily available. Extracting DMT may not be viable on a tourist trip, but you can definitely cook some Aya with storebought materials.
