Heptane??

Heptane is essentially a highly purified form of naphtha. The procedure for recrystallization ("re-x") has been described multiple times in the forum and in the wiki, e.g. Recrystallization - DMT-Nexus Wiki

Whether this is a necessary step depends on the history of the material you're working with.
