Hello! Somewhat long-time lurker here, finally signed up and ready to be a part of this community. I've been researching psychedelics in general for around 6-8 months now. I've learned so much. It's really crazy to realize all the misconceptions about them and the overall experience that I harbored. I couldn't be happier to have lifted (or at least lessened) my ignorance. I, as of now, have had no experience with any psychedelics, unless you count weed. I have had many good experiences with marijuana, but I'm afraid my attempts at using it for spiritual purposes have left me somewhat disappointed, although it has definitely broadened my experience base and shown me a bit more about the malleability of our perception(s) of reality. I'm looking to try DMT in the next month or so. I've been planning this for some time now, and am "ready" to visit hyperspace.

Anyways, I look forward to learning more and more from you guys, and giving back to the community in the ways I can. I appreciate the spot I've been given here on this forum.

If you have no experience with psychedelics I'd highly suggest starting with mushrooms to get a feel for tryptamines. Mushrooms (in my experience) are a bit less overwhelming than a DMT trip which can be off putting to someone with little experience. This is just my opinion though, if you feel ready to go straight to the deep end i wish you luck!
