Hi, akl, NZ

JoeBlogggs

Rising Star
Hi everybody, thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm a long time enthusiast of medicinal plants and fungi of all varieties. I have been microdosing P.Subs for almost 2 years now - I accredit this to saving my life, bringing me back from the brink with a serious opioid addiction of over 10 years and crippling depression. I was incredibly lucky to have one full experience with the god chemical and since have been obsessed. Living in NZ I cannot source this easily and have been on a quest to learn as much as possible from this community. I hope to learn more, identify and create the conditions that may further me in my healing journey. I am also a mental health professional and really believe this is the great uptapped. Perhaps the answer to the world's malady is available all around us.. Just look and listen hard enough. It was a privilege to experience the unexplainable and I hope to learn how to tap into this knowledge in a sustainable and ethically sound manner.

Thank you for sharing.

Welcome Joe! So happy to hear you've had such a profound shift thanks to plant medicine, it truly is a powerful tool that, when used correctly, can save your life. I know because it saved mine not once, but twice (well, it was LSD, not *plant* medicine exactly, but still). I owe so much to these states of consciousness.

I agree with you that psychedelics look like a very promising tool in shifting the collective mindset in a direction that will secure some form of at least liveable future.

I've got a good friend from NZ, so many cool people there. Cheers! 🤜🤛

JoeBlogggs,

Welcome to the Nexus. It was wonderful to read about your mushroom self healing. I hope that continues to work for you in a world filled with stressors and temptations.

I certainly understand about DMT obsession. You have come to the right place. There is a plethora of great information and many interesting voices here.

There are many extraction TEKs (recipes) that could get DMT into your hands, some are more toxic than others. Here is a link to begin your research:

Welcome. I like this story and I really think you are right. There seems to be a lot of benefit in the use of DMT for people suffering from depression and opioid addiction. The fact that is comes from plants, and you can make (or grow) it in your house with minimal effort is the bonus for those with the knowledge to do so.

Frankly, I thought it would be harder, but once you've done it once, and learned what *not to do*, it's a Sunday cake baking session.

I hope to read more about your success on achieving those goals soon.
