should SWIMS proceed?
should it look like the top layer after filtering, the pic is 24hours in the fridge, is the middle fine or let it settle still ?

It would likely help if you were to indicate the starting material used (MHRB ? my basified solutions were a lot darker than that - yours is a magnificent shade of red).

Also, is the NPS already present in this picture (and if so, what solvent did you use ?) ? I don't see any clear layer on top, but then again the photo is not 100% clear due to condensation around the container. In any case, the solvent should be perfectly clear (basically the same aspect as when you put it in initially).

SWIMS starting material was MHRB, this stage is after 5 Heat baths each for 1 hour. with HCL of 37% after filtering after each bath, then after all together its a jar filtered again SWIMS put it in the fridge for 24 hours and this is currently how it looks

SWIMS meant by a the top layer is what is should look like before defatting with zippo lighter fulid ?

My apologies, I thought you were at the basified stage already when in fact you've just finished the acid step.

In that case: yes, I believe it looks perfect; bearing in mind I'm far from the most experienced user here.
