How long can MHRB be kept in the acid of an A/B?

How long can I keep my root bark in the acid stage of Q21'q tek? Assuming I'm using vinegar.

Since it's a salt in this stage, would this be a means of preserving MHRB? (salts have longer shelf-lifes)

And allowing for a bulk acid bath, storage, and small basification batches later on?

let's revive this discussion, I'm very curious about this and any other ways of preserving MHRB.

I read some where that getting the MHRB in whole helps to keep the purpley goodness preserved, and that shredded or ground bark should go straight into the extraction process so that its not to be left sitting out.

I was wondering how long whole and shredded bark could be kept, and how to go about it. I was thinking keeping it refrigerated in a jar would be substantial.

But after seeing these posts, Is preserving it in the acid stage of the extraction process really the best way to go compared to other methods?

Cool Well I put it in 2 jars real nice and tight, set it in the fridge, and unscrewed the bulb. Hope this will be fine for about a month. I have to collect the rest of my ingredients, and I have enough on my plate at the moment so I'm gonna have to let it sit there for now.
