Is LSA something that does not stay in your system for long? Can it even be tested for?

I was recently put on probation, but have always wanted to give LSA and LSD a try, (LSD is almost non-existent now so thats out of the picture) but LSA is something that I can easily extract.

I want to continue to use substances like these for the mind expanding properties and spiritual experiences that I have had on other entheogens. However, being on probation, that limits me to the entheogens that I can now use.

I know DMT is safe to use in the sense of it being completely out of your system in 24 hours, and mushrooms are gone quiet quickly as well, say 2-3 days. However, what about things such as LSA? Can they even test for ergoline compounds such as LSA? If they can, and it is gone even quicker then mushrooms, then I may just try out some LSA and stick to that.

Like I said, I am not taking these substances to get "high", I am taking them for the self exploration and spiritual purposes. So please, dont reply with negative comments painting me as someone who wants to just "get high". I just want to continue to have the spiritual, and very deep important messages, that these substances can give.

I do not believe that probation should violate my right to something that is viewed as a religious sacrament to me. However, the law sees otherwise.

A couple of things here...

Even if a substance might be 'out by 24 hours', you are discounting the fact that the substance has metabolites, which are anyways what the tests often look for. Traces of metabolites may be there for much longer than the substance itself. DMT use could be potentially detected, and so can the use of basically any psychedelic/drug, but they just don't usually do it because these substances are not commonly used, and therefore it's not worth it in terms of money to test for them.

That being said, I don't know what tests the police/probation officers are commonly testing around your area, and even if I did know, I think it would be a liability for the whole community to start giving tips on how to fool probation requirements. It could bring bad attention to the community. Plus, what if the wrong information is given, and someone says that such or other substance is not tested or is clear from your substance in a certain amount of time, but then you have a bad luck and they test for that, or its not out of your system yet, and then you get caught and go to jail again? That's too much responsibility for anybody here to have, I think.

The best is of course if you can simply abstain from all substances until you're free from probation. It might seem like a big sacrifice but hey, whats a few months (or however long) in a life time? Specially considering the risks..

That is a good point endlessness, I guess I should be questioning how long until the metabolites are out of your system. With DMT though, I know those metabolites are gone fairly quickly. On top of that, anything like this used would be only once every now and then, and would be directly after a drug test.

I know that it is safer to just abstain from these things, and that will probably be the route I go, but I felt that there was no harm in at least trying to figure out these things. I know there are people on here that have gone through the same thing, and continued to use such substances. So I guess I would be asking for advice from them mainly.

And again, I just dont find it fair that what I do in conjunction with my religious beliefs be taken from me. What ever happened to freedom of religion? There are groups in this country that are allowed to use such things, and just because I am not part of those groups but believe in the same things I can not follow my religious beliefs? It just seems wrong to me.

So in the end, I will probably abstain from such things. I however would still like to know the answers to these questions, and I know there are some decent chemists/medical professionals that are part of this community. I figured they would know the answers better then anyone else.
