OK. I've been on this forum reading about DMT for years with interest.
Now that I'm a retired old man, I'm exploring psychedelics as a whole somewhat lightly. Pedro has been kind to me and provides a reset button which has been a positive thing for me.
So, I finally came across some DMT. Life is extremely stressful at the moment and I have been dabbling at about a hit or two. I went further just one time and I'll pose a question about that in a PS below.
A hit or so gives what feels somewhat like a strong mushroom trip lasting a few minutes. I've also tried this lower level smoking Syrian Rue first. That can be another story.
I'm trying to make these trips a positive ally more than an adventure.
A half hour alone total and a bit of a mood reset, possible personal insights... it fits me very well at the moment.
Here's the question. When first sampling the two products I have come across, I smoked them multiple times in a day a few hours apart to get a feel for their use. Doing so made me feel slightly burnt out the next day and somewhat the day of.
However, a single use in a busy week will often leave me energized and happier.
So, how often in a week or in a day do you find that you can use and not feel the little burn?
PS: One time I did go harder and take three hits. It was almost by accident as I overloaded the changa (made with passionflower) bowl and pushed to finish it.
I lay back, feeling it build and said, "OK, here we go."
Then... I was waking up from a nap.
It took me a few seconds to remember that I had smoked.
I didn't remember it.
Any thoughts on this?
