How to take the top off a Ronsonol container?

I feel like a right idiot and I can't seem to find anything that can help me. Currently doing my first extraction and I can't for the life of me get the lid off the lighter fluid tin.

If its a metal tab I've gotten that on naptha before. I hammered a screw into it and the then pulled it out.

I've never actually gotten the top off, but I use a knife to help me get the tip out when my fingers can't manage by themselves.

I hammer a screwdriver into those metal stoppers and use that to pry them up.

Tip for pouring out of those big metal canisters without spilling: turn it on its side with the opening on TOP. This makes it easier for air to enter the container to replace the solvent you are pouring out.

i had 130 ml ronsonols where you push the red pipe up and squirt or i carefully held the canister in the sink and pulled the whole top of with pliers, quite easy never spilt any 8 or so times. if thats even the same container.

Ended up just pulled the top off by wedging some scissors underneath the cap.
