I had an interesting experience last week. It was during my second trip of the night, the first one being uneventful. I was stuck in the fractal space, and I started to see the patterns shift into vague shapes that resembled mundane real life objects in a scene. I had a flash of forgotten insight from a previous trip where something taught me that if I was stuck behind the fractal barrier I could compress the 4-d space into a 2d holographic plane and turn it 90 degrees vertically. I did this and the fractals faded away right when the edge of the frame hit the center of my vision.
I floated downwards into a glossy white hi-tech hallway which materialized around me. It felt sort of like a hospital. My vision was extremely vivid. There were rows of people sitting in chairs made of the same glossy plastic-steel like material that were built into the floor and walls. The fractal pattern I had been seeing was playing on each tv, and the people were mindlessly staring at it as though they were hypnotized. They were totally unaware of anything going on around them. I realized that I was sitting in a chair too. As I started to stand up a voice was speaking to me in my head, telling me that I wasn't subject to this confinement anymore. It made me wonder if the fractals are a representation of the veil of Maya.
What I'm really curious about is if anyone has used the compress everything into a frame and turn it 90 degrees technique. I had totally forgotten about this technique until that moment and I am going to try it again. The white room seems to be a common experience but I've never heard of anyone breaking through the barrier like this.
