I just broke through

Let me start this by stating that I am still in some kind of shock as I type this. Im shaking like crazy!

I vaped at 9:50am.
I didnt weigh my dose, and I dont regret it at all.

I went for it too,lol. I have a gvg, but not a jet fueled lighter. Normally I would take 2 or 3 light hits, and enjoy the journey.
This time, I held my lighter there, and slowly inhaled for a good amount of time.
The thick white cloud of smoke slowly infiltrated my body, and I knew right away, that I would be having a journey that would dwarf the others, in terms of EVERYTHING.

I remember having to close my eyes, as the claymation intensity of the room around me was just to much, plus, when I blinked, super bright white flowing visions flashed.
So I closed my eyes, and I cant even really describe it, yet I'm gonna try.
I saw INTENSE white with flashing colors in it. It was flowing around me everywhere, just as solid as can be.
Then there was black swirls with blue spots in it, kind of swirling around in front of me, like an eddy.
While I was seeing this, and much much more I'm sure, I was confronted with questions of death, and letting go.
It was very serious, and I remember needing to make a decision, to let go, or to not let go.
I do remember telling myself everything would be ok, and to just let go.
I have no idea if I did or not :/
I have read tons of stories about people being confronted with death, and I always found it very interesting.
It was far far scarier than I expected, however, for the entire journey, I was in elated spirits and never felt at odds with anything.
I came to with a huge smile around 9:56.
I literally spent the time between 9:56 and 10:10 shouting WTF, OMG, and various appropriate obscenities.
I also got the shakes real bad afterwards, and a slow tingly sensation in my fingers and hands, which was a first.
Right now it's 10:25, and I feel I'm back to normal.

That was amazing, and even after all my journeys so far, I had no effing clue.
I had no clue.

Yes, remembering is tricky=)
Up until now I had been taking small doses, and getting used to that, and seeing what I could bring back from those smaller journeys.
I find I get very little pre-flight anxiety with the small doses.
This being my first breakthrough, I really dont remember much at all, other than what I typed.
I know for a fact that I saw more and thought more though.
I look forward to taking the journey again...
And I think I'm probably going to have just a little more pre-flight anxiety now=)

Note that it can take some time though, at least it did for me, as I'm not used to vaping.
I've had my GVG for 2 weeks, and have been taking very small journeys 1 ot 2 times a day, depending on things.
I think I'm getting the hang of it now=)

This actually sounds like a very mild experience, based on his limited description of the trip. You should expect more.

I have to say, my best trips come when I don't try to control it too much -- including weighing my doses. Do what feels right for you.

I apologize if I'm hijacking this thread, but I did receive my GVG today. It is exceptional. I cannot even taste the vapor during inhalation. I used it four separate times today, but I still didn't truly break through. Maybe I have some mental block or something. I absolutely feel something powerful and it's all rather psychedelic, but I always remain grounded and never leave my room. I'm vexed. Can anyone sympathize with my situation or offer any advice?

@DeMolecularTravelar I did read your response to my earlier post, but I've tried on numerous other occasions to vaporize spice in my meth pipe and lightbulb, with the same results as with the GVG. At this point, I could see myself blowing through the rest of my MHRB without having a true break through, and I'm not keen on ordering more. I am only extracting 50 grams at a time so that I can pace myself, but I've still performed at least 5-6 extractions to this point. I am a patient person, but I'm not convinced this is something that will come with time and practice, because it hasn't yet. I need to reevaluate my approach and do something differently. I'm not completely opposed to injecting some DMT in solution, but I'd rather not take that route of administration if I can successfully vaporize instead. I hardly have leather lungs, so I don't know if that's an issue. I'm concerned that if I can't keep enough smoke down for long enough, not even the GVG will be enough.

I totally understand where you're coming from, I was at the extact same place.
It seriously just takes practice.
I know thats not cool when you have limited supplies and funds.
This was my only break through so far, and I can state in all honesty, I dont know if it was the dose, as I didn't weigh it (I don't condone that), or if it was my technique, as this time I held the lighter there and drew very slow for a good while.
I had been lighting it until I saw some clouds in the GVG, then just inhaling that, and maybe doing that one or two more times.
It a learning process, and while it can be a little frustrating, it is also fun,exciting, and helps you get to know the spice, its levels, and how to handle what little we can handle.
My thinking is it will happen to you when you REALLY want it to happen to you, AND when the spice is ready, cause you will never be ready. Nobody can ever really be ready for this stuff=)

Do yourself a huge solid and get to know synergistic plants to enhance DMT a thousandfold: the caapi vine and syrian rue being the top dawgs in MAOI action. I never travel without my good friend syrian rue.

Another easy method to combat tricky vaporization: make changa. I never smoke plain ole freebase.

Also note that "true breakthrough" is a massively subjective term. But the general rule of thumb of You'll-Know-When-it-Happens is basically true.

I crudely made changa last night with caapi leaf, freebase, and 95% ethanol. I again vaporized in my GVG, and it felt unmistakably like the beginnings of an mimosahuasca trip. Can you combust changa in a bong or traditional marijuana pipe? If so, that sounds promising. I also have syrian rue seed available.

I only use a bong. I wasted a hundred bucks on the GVG. It works, but the bong for me is much better.

Direct flame, just as though you were smoking weed (and, like with weed, once you get the bowl to cherry you don't need the lighter. A simple tap of the flame usually gets the bowl going for me ) . The plant matter seems to provide a buffer and, at least for me, the DMT doesn't burn. If it does burn, I sure can't taste it.
