I may be going to Jail tomorrow morning.

Migrated topic.
My thoughts go out to you, hostilis. I hope it goes well, went well, is going well. I am currently facing a similar situation (though perhaps slightly less severe), so I can definitely relate. Good luck brother. No matter what happens, keep your chin up. Sending every positive vibe I have in your direction. :)

Well didn't go the best. Partially in my favor. Not very happy though. I guess cops can just lie about stuff and get away with it. And they will lie as long as they can bust you. Bunch of dirt bags.

I've officially completely lost hope in the "justice" system. It is corrupt, only favors the officials and screws it's citizens.

It's a very sad fact that is only seen by those whose lives are damaged by it, and that usually means you've been labeled a criminal, and are therefore marginalized. Sorry to hear it didn't go as you hoped.

And yeah,i laugh when someone says something along the lines of: "the cops can't do that.."! They're cops, they do what they want. . Hell, they can murder with impunity as long as their cohorts back each other up. Look up the case of JJames Chasse,a mentality ill man who weighed under 125 lbs, who had every single rib broken by a cop who was over 225 lbs, and in full gear. Lord have mercy, someone has to...

Police officers have their own pack mentality just like any other predatory animal. It's very easy for units to descend into what then becomes a collective effort--what in the end appears to be a government sponsored gang. They become angry barking dogs.

I have been curious as to why Joe Rogan always talks about police by saying "we need them", but clearly most of his other points of view lean away from this statement. It's for this reason regarding this pack mentality stuff. It's because the only way to truly beat the system is to join it (slightly). You almost have to be the friend of the cop. Be proactive if you have to. Get to know law enforcement in your area. And, above all else, know the laws, and know your rights.

Yet some good people still get caught in this net.

hostilis, I'm glad to hear it didn't go worse. Best wishes to you.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't go so great, hostilis. But I am glad you were at least able to come home and post, so I assume you are not incarcerated. Best wishes, my friend.

Happy endings are possible. :) I got off probation last month. Also... I just got a call today from my lawyer saying that they dompletely dropped the case against me.

It's over!! 😁

Congratulations! From what I understand, the US is possibly the worst and most unjust country in the world to get arrested in - I hope you enjoy slipping the noose (although don't celebrate too near any cops 😉 )

Thanks everyone. It feels sureal but it happened. Pretty stoked.

Thanks for the support!

Sounds as if you were in a diversionary program and with successful completion, your case was expunged. Normally it is one to a customer. Congrats.
