Do not use DCM in an STB!!!DCM is an amazing solvent. It is heavier than water and it sinks on the bottom instead of floating on top (like naphtha does).In an STB, mixing the DCM with the lye/water/bark material will make a mess. It won't be easy to retrieve the solvent form the bottom.
