I too may be going to jail...

Migrated topic.
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.

Adam: I do not have a lawyer per se, but I have developed a decent relationship with a local lawyer who has represented me in the past. I may contact him some time in the next couple of days depending on what happens from here.

Another quick update:
I finally had a chance to meet one-on-one with my counselor last week, and I am much more confident about the situation now. She was concerned, but not nearly as much as I feared she might be. She sees the incident much like I do: more of a single isolated poor choice than what would be referred to as a "relapse". Although the program she provides is total abstinance-based, she still felt like it was much less of an issue than it would have been had I used opiates (my drug of choice, in the past). I have no reason to think that she will be notifying the court, and it actually seems like this will not affect my ability to finish the program some time in the next couple of weeks :)

Thank you all for your support and your kind words. I am so grateful to be a part of this community.

that's great news Entheogenerator, I hope it all works out OK, the last thing we need is Nexians in jail, that's not our place.

good luck:thumb_up:

I meant to post in this thread in a more timely manner. My apologies for missing the opportunity when it came up. But I wanted to say I wish you the best possible outcome, whatever that may be. I hope your flow of life remains indubious to all in your community. Sending you love and blessings.

One final update on my situation:
I have finally graduated from the outpatient program I was enrolled in. It did a lot of good for me, in a number of ways, but I am relieved to have completed it. Thank you all so much for your support :)
