I was banned to “take time and reflect on myself,” I did so, and here’s what I SAW . . .

I came to the Nexus to share my sacred experiences with curanderos, elders, and daykeepers of Central and South America. While there are members here who value what I shared before my ban, other “senior” members are left-brained dilatants who take issue with anything that doesn’t fit within their narrow-minded and empty-hearted belief systems.

So what have I learned from my exiled punishment? I’m STAYING on this site to share with those who do want to learn the ways of the curanderos and keepers of plant medicines. And rather than trying to reason with half-witted dilatants, or confront them about their covert condescending attitudes, if they troll me again, I’ll just respond with a non-confrontive message of “DMTroller alert” and leave it at that.

Welcome back, @Ajqij . I think you have some interesting experiences to share, I invite you to start sharing them and leave behind demeaning other people. If some user's posts bother you, go to their profile and you will find a button that says "ignore". Click it and you won't see their posts anymore. I really encourage you to do that instead of calling them trolls and other names. You are of course free to do as you will, but don't be surprised if you're banned again fast if you demean others and call them trolls.

Let's be adults, be constructive, and focus on what you want to share. If some poster bothers you, click "ignore" and move on.

Welcome back, @Ajqij! You have some nice posts, and I appreciate the things you share. I want to learn from you. Don't mind people who don't understand anything about spirituality and shamanism, be stronger than the narrow-minded and empty-hearted bullies. This is a good lesson for you as well. Try to express things in a more polite way, so the mods won't be angry, and people who need and want to understand you will understand you anyway. Welcome back again, and thank you for sharing your experiences.

I guess I'm a good candidate for your “ignore” list.
All the best to you. May you find your audience.
Peace and Love ❤️

If you’re coming back with the intent to contribute, then contribute. But calling people “left brained dilettantes” and announcing that you’ll label critics as “DMT trolls” isn’t showing much growth and reflection.

You weren’t banned for being too enlightened. You were removed because you refused to engage in honest dialogue without turning every disagreement into a declaration of superiority.

Good luck

I personally found your contributions to be very insightful and valuable, I didn't really get what the resistance was about. Partly I think this comes from the fact this is ultimately a site based in Western culture, a culture that DMT has been totally alien to until very recent history compared to other regions. As such, some may be overly sensitive to a sense that that they are being 'lectured' to or schooled about the sacrament and its use. They want to have their own relationship to the sacrament and can learn from other traditions also but have freedom to find their own way.

What I would say is, now that you have got the whole 'left brained dilitatantes' spiel out of your system, drop the 'DMT Troll' thing, it will just come across as overly reactive and likely lead to the same outcome. Share freely, and if someone you feel is being condescending put them on ignore and don't bother responding, just continue to share. You are a valued member and it would be a shame to let issues with communication affect that.

Nope, it was @Ajqij attitude. That's all.
Share all you want, but be respectful to others too.
🙏

Ah, yes, because calling others "left-brained dilatants", "narrow-minded", "empty-hearted", and "half-witted" shows so much growth, maturity, and emotional intelligence on your part. If someone hadn't heard your endless lectures and went solely off of this post, I wonder if they'd think "man, this guy really sounds like he lived among wise elders for 2 decades and over".

Took the time - you did. Reflect - not so sure about that one. You were banned not because people were not prepared to understand some grand truth that you were so graciously offering on a platter. You got banned because you took personal offense to people respectfully disagreeing with you, and instead of holding a healthy discussion about it, you reacted as if you were being attacked.

I want to say "welcome back", but if you're going to keep this defensive, arrogant, and belittling attitude, I'm not so sure I would really mean it.

I'd recommend following the advice you've been given above and use the "ignore" function of the forum on those members with whom you don't want to interact. But keep in mind that if the attitude you show in this post persists, you will get permanently banned from this forum. This is the one and only time I will remind you of this.

Good luck.

Well, that's not very nice.

Respectful communication

Watch your language. Communication is comprised of not only the explicit but also the implicit messages, which are transmitted through choice of words and general tone of speech. We do not want curse words and immature slang in the Nexus! Please use language in a dignified manner.
You also broke a rule.

So much for wisdom coming with age...

One love

And with this attitude you have been suspended again till next Friday. 🙄

If you do not improve this sad behavior, you will get a perma-ban.

Kind of feeling bad for the guy.

Too bad the curanderos and daykeepers don't chill here, it would be a nice direct contact. But where do they hang out if they get into the net?

I think they hang out in Indra’s Net, where every cross-section is a jewel containing the entirety of the whole in holographic form. Presumably, this includes the OP, just as much as anyone else, including the greatest sages and most horrible people to have ever walked the earth.

While I have no doubt that the OP has interesting things to share from his experience of living among curanderos, and such, coming in hot as a teacher that no one asked for is probably not the most effective way of connecting with a new community.

Imagine working hard to build and live in a home for close to two decades. Feeling like found family, including with conflicts. Growing and changing over time. Coming and going. Being very diverse of age and experience ranging from 18 (I hope) to (bezevo claims) 103.

Now this is say a cottage style home. Those in this home LOVE cottage style homes, study things about cottage style homes, have unique beliefs about the nature of cottage style homes. Some even claim with great sincerity that the nature of cottage style homes has completely changed their lives, their beliefs, their responses to the vicissitudes of life, etc. This is also a home that greatly values and cherishes humility.

Then someone comes into your home, and you welcome him. But his response is your home should be a townhouse style home or it is not correct. He claims you must seek the wisdom of him and builders he has known and connected with. Would this make you fall to your knees and say, "Guide me wise one?" Or perhaps it might garner a different style of response. . . .

Ajqij, the only thing I don't get is why do you want to be here on the nexus? It was crystal clear last time that what you were looking for does not reside here.

I'm sure many of us have adapted in some way or another to intergrate with what the nexus is. That is the key. We fit in here through learning and care. The nexus does not fit in with what an individual wants.

So... what's the url or ip address to get there?
